Sopchoppy Harvest Growers Market Resumes

The Sopchoppy Harvest Growers’ Market is now offered every Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in front of Posh Java, Organics & Gifts, at the corner of Rose Street and Winthrop Ave., in historic downtown Sopchoppy. The market features, local organic and unsprayed vegetables;Â Â homemade, hand-ground, fresh bread from Crescent Moon Farm;Â Â live music; and varying demonstrations, events, vendors and activities.
Posh Java, Organics & Gifts, sell homemade baked goods, coffee, tea, smoothies, soup and sandwiches, all made with natural and organic ingredients. A natural grocery room, featuring organic and gourmet food items is open, and fair trade and locally hand crafted gift items; local and world music; and bath and beauty items are for sale.
“We are presently seeking interested grower’s, seafood vendors, and people interested in offering children’s activities,” said Posh co owner, Debbie Dix. “We are also interested in people who would like to offer eco friendly and food-related demonstrations, and in performers who would like to share their talent during market hours.”
