Songwriters Listening Room Concert at Posh Java in Sopchoppy

Paxton Roberts, Morty Beckman, Rick Ott, and Bill Gay will perform original music in a “Songwriters Listening Room Concert” at Posh Java, Organics & Gifts Sat. Feb. 19, 7:30 p.m.
Paxton Roberts is a Tallahassee-based performing songwriter focusing on Americana, folk, political folk, folk rock, and story songs. He performs solo and in songwriter rounds. He has performed at the Florida Folk Festival, Southern Music Rising Music Festival, the Yellow Fever Music Festival, and the Woodstork Music Festival. Roberts also has performed at various acoustic venues, such as the Warehouse and Paradigm Lounge in Tallahassee, the Songwriters’ Cracker Cafe in White Springs, Hook Wreck Henry’s, Backwoods Bistro, the Monticello Opera House Happy Hour, Johnston’s in Monticello, Eddies Attic in Atlanta, and the televised “From The Heart Music Hour”.
Morty Beckman has been writing, singing and recording original music for forty years. He owns and manages World Wide Guitars which promotes the annual Orlando International Guitar and Music Expo in Orlando, Florida. Beckman also promotes other Guitar Expos throughout the Eastern U.S. He is excited about the “Songwriters’ Listening Room” project, and particularly presenting original music to the community at Posh Java, Organics & Gifts.
