Randall “Big Daddy” Webster
Back in the USA, after his 52nd overseas tour, singer/songwriter “Big Daddy” Webster has been performing for over 25 years. Building on African America’s historically indigenous music, “Big Daddy” mixes blues and jazz, soul, and hip hop, for a thick sonic blend that swims deeply in the social conscience.
Recently redirecting his music toward making a positive change in the world, “Big Daddy” tackles some tough social issues, breaking new grounds in a genre of music that hasn’t often aimed at raising awareness. His new CD, “The Wounded Healer,” with Professor Joel C. Johnson, has been described as “a remarkable musical testament of our times.”
