Wakulla Springs State Park & The Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park
invite you to National Public Lands Day
On Saturday, September 27, Wakulla Springs State Park (WSSP) and the Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park (FWSSP) invite you to give back your public lands and participate in National Public Lands Day.
National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the largest single day volunteer event devoted to improving our public lands. NPLD provides citizens an opportunity to give back to their public lands.
FRIENDS MEMBERS NEEDED FROM 9AM TO 12PM
To plant trees along Cherokee Sink. This project will help prevent soil erosion and restore the natural vegetation.
Rewards for your volunteer service:
*An afternoon of recreation in the park
*A guided river boat tour on the beautiful Wakulla River (following lunch on your own)
