Florida’s black bear population has recovered from the low numbers in the 90s and is now estimated to be 4,030. Their endangered species status has been removed, making them a true wildlife conservation success story. Join us to learn about current research investigating black bear behavior in the human-dominated landscape and the demography of the Apalachicola subpopulation of bears.
