Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park Road Clean Up
March 21, 2015
Your help is needed keep Wakulla Springs State Park beautiful and protect its wildlife. In 2003, as part of the Keep Wakulla County Beautiful “Adopt-A-Road” program, the Friends adopted a three mile section of CR 61 (from SR 267 to Shadeville Rd). The Friends’ road transects the park with the original area of the park (Ed Ball’s property) on one side and the Cherokee Sink area on the other.
The Friends conduct quarterly cleanups to remove litter along their adopted road, which beautifies the area and more importantly protects wildlife. More…Friends Road Cleanup
