Big Bend Hospice is looking to fill a position for Community Relations Coordinator (Wakulla/Franklin) –32 hours/Week-Full-Time Benefits
Represent BBH at civic, social and professional organizations in the counties of responsibility (Wakulla/Franklin). Facilitate and manage Advisory Councils in assigned counties and guide them with a strategic plan based on the BBH strategic plan. Develop, plan and implement public awareness events in assigned counties. Assist in recruiting volunteers. Build and nurture working relations with community media and local Chambers in assigned counties. Identify and cultivate community partnerships. Promote volunteer-based programs including Valor, Transitions, Pet Peace of Mind and AmeriCorps. Requirements of the position include: Marketing degree from an accredited college/university preferred but related work experience can be substituted. Minimum of two years of public relations and marketing experience required. Must have excellent communication and people skills and be able to work as part of a team.
