4 -H Summer Camp

Enrollment is OPEN for all Wakulla County 4-H Community Clubs. All students ages 8-18 can participate by attending any meeting and filling out enrollment paperwork. Cost for club enrollment is $12 for the entire school year and covers membership in all clubs. Come by any meeting at the times listed below to find out how much fun you can have. All clubs will meet at the Wakulla County Extension Office unless otherwise indicated.

All camps will take place from 9 a.m.””3:00 p.m. Pick up and drop off will take place at the Wakulla County Extension Office unless otherwise indicated. Costs will vary and are still to be determined. Range is likely to be $30.00″”$60.00 for day camps and Camp Cherry Lake will be ~$200.00 for the week.

Bugs, Bugs, Everywhere (June 6″”9, 2011) -  Focus will be on bug collecting techniques and habitats. Honeybees and the science of entomology will be explored. Field trips included to local “hot” spots and guest speakers invited. Open to ages 8″”12
Camp Cherry Lake (OVERNIGHT in Madison, FL, June 13″”17) Traditional camping activities including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, archery, water games, campfire, crafts and games.
Culinary Kids (June 27″”30) Learn cooking in a restaurant setting and learning how to set a table, plan a menu and make healthy lifestyle choices. Open to ages 8″”14
Spa-licious (July 11-14)””Come and relax with us as we teach you how to relax, make your own spa articles, embroider, do yoga, explore careers and pamper ourselves with manicures, pedicures and massage. We will also sample spa foods! Open to ages 8″”12
Beading Fun For All (July 18″”21) Camp will focus on the art of beading, the cultural and historical significance of beads as well as bead construction, display and marketing. Bead kits will be provided to all participants Open to ages 8″”14.
