Sopchoppy 4th of July Celebration

This annual event is hosted by the city of Sopchoppy on the 4th of July each year. Festivities for the day begin with a parade downtown Sopchoppy from 10-11 am. Byron B. Hodges Park opens to the public at 11 am for the opening ceremony from 12:00 – 12:30 pm. Visit the Wakulla County Public Library from 9am – 12pm for the Friends of WCPL Book Extravaganza!  Thousands of gently used books are available for a donation of your choice.  All donations are greatly appreciated as they will be used to support the Library’s various children’s programs.
