Sustainable Big Bend Discussion Workshop

March 16, 2011 @ 7:15 pm

On Wednesday March 16th at 7:15PM; POSH, in collaboration with the UF/IFAS Wakulla County Extension office, will launch its Sustainable Big Bend Discussion/Workshop series. Sustainable Big Bend is a not-for-profit corporation which is an “˜umbrella organization’ serving the entire Big Bend in providing services geared toward networking, education, sharing, outreach and building community with regard to various aspects of sustainable living. In the past, it has brought the Green Living Expo to Wakulla County in 2007, “˜8, “˜9 and “˜10. It is now launching another grass-roots effort to reach and include more people in developing practical sustainable living solutions. POSH is proud to be a part of this effort and welcomes Shelly Swenson, an agent for the Extension Office, as the facilitator of our first Discussion/Workshop. She will be showing a 90 min. film, “Blue Gold ““ World Water Wars”, to begin looking at and discussing the issues of water. A PDF file describing this film is attached.

If you are interested in participating in this and/or future Discussion/Workshops, please contact us at 962-1010 or 528-5838. More WorldWaterWars (pdf)
