“Saving Wakulla Springs” Overland Tour

Learn what you can do to help save our precious Wakulla Springs! Guided overland tour of the Wakulla Springs Basin following the journey of water as it flows underground from Tallahassee through the longest and deepest cave system in the world to Wakulla Springs. Tour led by noted biologist, Jim Stevenson, retired chief naturalist of Florida’s state parks for 20 years. Car caravan tour departs from the TCC parking lot and ends at Wakulla Springs State Park with 9 stops of interest along the way including lakes, sinkholes and the wastewater treatment plant. Proceeds to benefit two local non-profit organizations working to protect Wakulla Springs. $18 per person. Student discount available. Spaces limited.
