Wakulla Wildlife Festival at Wakulla Springs State Park

The annual Wakulla Wildlife Festival will be held on the third Saturday in April at Wakulla Springs State Park.  The festival is a celebration of outdoor activities and area heritage.  Local musicians, artists, and experts offer festival participants one-of-a-kind experiences, helpful advice, and personal enrichment in a neighborhood family atmosphere.   The festival continues to include the ever-popular premium guided tours, living history demonstrators and children's activities.  Special Bird of Prey and Reptile Shows presented by the Center for Wildlife Education of Georgia Southern University are…

Panacea Rock the Dock Fishing Tournament

Hundreds of anglers participate in this annual fishing tournament the last weekend in April held at Wooley Park in Panacea. Registrants compete for prizes in the recreational, youth and kayak division. The Captain’s meeting is held Friday evening at the gazebo next to Rock Landing Marina. Stephen C. Smith Regatta

The Regatta has drawn as many as 200 registered participants and hundreds more spectators from all over the southeast. The event includes: races for yachts rated under the PHRF handicapping system, catamarans such as Hobie Cats, smaller day sailors including Sunfish, and windsurfers, the most numerous and arguably the most colorful participants in the Regatta. Panacea Blue Crab Festival

The Blue Crab Festival is held annually the first Saturday in May at Woolley Park on scenic Dickerson Bay. The quaint festival originated in 1975 to promote the crab industry in Wakulla County. Gulf Specimen is getting ready for its annual Sharks & Chablis fundraiser! It will be held on Saturday May 19th from 4-8pm.
