Upcoming Professional Development Workshop 

CareerSource Capital Region is partnering with the Wakulla Chamber of Commerce to present 

Professionalism on the Job: Etiquette is for Everyone. This session will allow you to preview the quality professional development solutions that we can provide to your employees at no cost. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 7 from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m at the CareerSource Capital Region’s Wakulla Career Center, 3278 Crawfordville Hwy #G, Crawfordville, Florida 32327.

During this session attendees will explore how employees interact and communicate with each other in dealing with a variety of situations in the office such as proper cell phone etiquette, work ethics, email do’s and don’ts, office gossip, the reasons people get fired and more.

About the Presenter:

Rafael joined the business solutions team of CareerSource Capital Region in July 2016 as an Account Specialist. In his position, Rafael establishes and builds relationships with businesses in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties to connect them with career seekers for internship, work experience, and permanent employment opportunities through the STEM Ready Grant. 

Prior to joining the CareerSource Capital Region team, Rafael worked as a sales executive assisting a RealtorĀ® for the ONE Sotheby’s International Realty team. His responsibilities included building and maintaining relationships with investors and industry professionals in Miami Beach, Florida, and London, United Kingdom. He recently served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves as a Forward Observer Paratrooper for 2 years and as a Maintenance Technician/Rifleman for 4 years. In conjunction with his military experience, Rafael’s background includes 3 years of local and international sales/ marketing, 1 year in banking, and 5 years in the construction industry. 

Rafael currently volunteers his free time to assist in various community organizations mentoring the younger generation. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Rafael was raised in Fort Lauderdale, and proudly calls Tallahassee home as he pursues an undergraduate degree in Economics.
