Make a Difference in the Life of a Local Abused and Neglected Child… Become a Guardian ad Litem.
The Child’s Best Interest is Our Only Interest.
Guardian ad Litems are community members who volunteer to represent local children before the court, social service agencies and the community. They are the child’s voice and the ones who show the child the community cares. Volunteers are trained and work in a team environment with peer mentor, program staff, including attorneys. On average, Guardians devote 8-10 hour a month to their cases.
Guardians Roles are:
A Voice for the Child. For training schedule and more information see GAL flyer Wakulla-Franklin 2016
