Capital Area Community Action Agency is now seeing clients at the Wakulla One Stop Community Center!!!

CACAA offers help in many areas such as Utility Assistance, Weatherization and many other areas!

*From the 1st-15th of the month priority is given to those who are 60 and older, Disabled, and Households with children 5 and younger.

Appointment is NEEDED, Walk Ins are not accepted!

To make an appointment please call 850-926-3122 between 8 and 9 am, appointments are made for same day.

Early Learning Coaliton is at the One Stop Community Center.

 

The Early Learning Coalition is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to provide leadership and advocacy that builds a community where all children are prepared for success in school. In a nutshell: We get kids “ready for school, and ready for life!”

ELC works with families and teachers to help young children be ready for school. ELC provides information resources to help parents find and choose quality child care. ELC provides screenings and assessment services to identify developmental stages for the children we serve. ELC offers technical assistance and professional development opportunities to early learning teachers throughout the Big Bend Region of Northern Florida.

Department of Children and Families will be here at the Wakulla One Stop on Thursday’s from 9:30 am-4:30 pm to assist clients in navigating the self-service application and answer general questions about their My Access accounts.

Public Assistance WCTV Interview

 

Kids Choice is a Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Youth Program is held every Monday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the One Stop Community Center.

Deputies will be at the facility to spend time with the youths and deliver messages on a wide variety of topics as they mentor and interact speaking to youths about avoiding illegal narcotic use, bullying, gang violence, conflict resolution and more.

CPR/AED/Choking Assistance Class will be offered Thursday, February 12th from 7:00-9:00 pm.  This class requires preregistration!

Prenatal Education Class This class will help you learn how to take care of your changing body, baby’s monthly development and more!  Classes are January 12th, 26th and February 2nd from 6:30-8:30 pm.  This class requires preregistration!

Baby Basics This class is suggested for new parents and soon-to-be parents, grandparents, and other family members. The class includes the essentials to newborn care, common challenges, information for parents to make the healthiest choices for their new baby.  Classes are held on Mondays, February 16th and 23rd

Family Fun Workout class every Tuesday at 6:00 pm at the Wakulla One Stop Gym. All ages welcome. Tiger Rock offers programs at the Wakulla One Stop on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm.  This program is $40 a month.
