The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is Seeking Members to Serve on the Marine Advisory Committee

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners (Board) is seeking five members for the Wakulla County Marine Advisory Committee. This Committee was created by Ordinance No. 2013-32, for the purpose of advising and recommending to the Board on issues related to recreational marine and water related activities and resources in Wakulla County. All members must be residents of Wakulla County and will serve for a four (4) year term. The Board will appoint one (1) member to represent each of the following areas, with each member having professional knowledge, experience, education and/or engagement in recreational marine and water activities for the area they represent:

1. Panacea or St. Marks Florida Waterfront Community

2. Marina Operator

3. Recreational Angler or Diver

4. Fishing Guide

5. Marine Biologist
