BOCC Seeking Members to Serve on IDA

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking two (2) members to serve on the Industrial Development Authority (IDA).  The IDA was established for the purpose of financing and refinancing of industry or projects in Wakulla County, and for the purpose of encouraging economic development.

The BOCC is seeking two (2) members who must be residents of Wakulla County and who must meet the following criteria:

  • One member, who must be an Attorney
  • One member, who must be a developer or officer of a development company of industrial sites, or a commercial contractor or officer of a commercial building company

Interested persons should submit a cover letter explaining their interest in serving on the IDA and identifying which category the person qualifies for, along with a resume or other statement of relevant experience which includes the person’s name, address, telephone number, and email address no later than Friday, February 22, 2013.  Please e-mail your information to Jessica Welch, Communications & Public Services Director at jwelch@mywakulla.com or by fax to 926-0940.
