With the excitement in the air for the upcoming adventure at Camp Cherry Lake, itís time to think about why camping experiences really are exciting for young people.

Besides the obvious get-away from parents and siblings (in some cases), young people need the opportunity to explore new activities, meet new people and exert their independence in a safe, nurturing environment.
