News Release – Commissioners Acquire Individual Priorities

Crawfordville, Florida ““ The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners held their 5th Annual Retreat on December 9, 2010 to determine the top priorities for the County to focus on in 2010/2011.

The meeting began with a high level overview provided by Timothy Barden, Interim County Administrator, of 2010 activities which included the 2009/2010 Board Priorities (Water Quality Improvements, Comprehensive Plan & Land Development Code, Transportation Improvements, Youth Enrichment, Improvements to Public Safety & Expansion of Public Services, and Energy Conservation) and staff taskings.  After further discussion, the Board reached consensus and determined that while continuing to make strides in achieving the previous overall broad Board priorities, that each Commissioner will select and focus on one priority they would like to see accomplished for this upcoming year.
